My fan's user manual warns that solid state speed controls should not be used with it to reduce fire risk. Is the adorne fan speed control a solid state type? If so, does the de-hummer feature alleviate the fire risk?

Asked by: Anonymous
The adorne Paddle Fan Speed control is a de-hummer, which is NOT Solid State.

Is there a fan speed control switch for fan speed and light control in Adorne?

Asked by: James
Good Morning and thank you for your interest in our products. Unfortunately, the fan control can only control the speed. You would need a separate switch/dimmer to control the light. Hope this helps!

The fan starts then it slows down and then it doesn’t respond to any speed. I have 2 (in living room and bedroom) and both have similar issue.

Asked by: Sanders
Thank you for your inquiry regarding our adorne fan speed control. Have you verified that the fan can be used with a fan speed control? If not, please contact the manufacturer of the fan and verify that it can be used with a speed control. If so, then please contact us at tech.support@legrand.us or via phone at 800-223-4185 so we can further diagnose and troubleshoot. Hope this helps!
