Vantage and Legrand Shading Systems to Demonstrate Lighting Control and Shading Innovations at HTSA Lightapalooza 2023

Vantage LHUMAN Human-Centric Lighting and Legrand Shading Take Center Stage at Annual Lighting Conference

CARLSBAD, Calif. — Jan. 24, 2023 Legrand's Vantage and Shading Systems will be shining the spotlight on their latest lighting control and shading innovations at Lightapalooza 2023, the second annual lighting conference of Home Technology Specialists of America (HTSA). Held Feb. 20-23, 2023, at the Renaissance Phoenix Glendale Hotel and Spa, Lightapalooza will arm dealers with the information they need to take advantage of the rich opportunities in lighting. At the forefront for solutions on display will be Vantage’s LHUMAN human-centric lighting (HCL) system and Legrand Shading Systems motorized shading, featuring fabric collections from top shading fabric designers as well as the company’s new shading accessories.

“We’re excited to have Legrand’s Vantage and Legrand Shading join the conference,” said Tom Doherty, director, new technology initiatives at HTSA. “Lightapalooza is a unique opportunity, bringing together top custom integrators and lighting segment manufacturers over three days to discuss and engage in topics strictly related to the emerging lighting category. You won’t want to miss this event!”

Dealers will experience Vantage’s LHUMAN HCL system in action. At the heart of the HCL solution is Vantage’s intelligent lighting control, which provides full color control and dimming of a wide range of tunable lighting fixtures from lighting fixture manufacturer partners. These partners include some of the premier names in tunable lighting: Circa Lighting, Colorbeam Lighting, DMF Lighting, ELEMENT fixtures from Tech Lighting, Environmental Lights, LF Illumination, Lucifer Lighting, No. 8 Lighting, Proluxe by American Lighting, PureEdge Lighting, Soraa Lighting, and WAC’s AiSPiRE.

Homeowners can let LHUMAN do the work for them — automatically adjusting their home's light throughout the day, fully synchronized to the natural daylight from the sun — while easily making changes on the fly with preset scenes that deliver the appropriate color temperature and intensity to meet their current activity, need, or mood. All it takes is the touch of a button on a sleek Vantage touchscreen or modular keypad. To fully harness the power of natural lighting, LHUMAN seamlessly integrates with Legrand Shading Systems motorized window shades, as well as with all major brands, allowing users to effortlessly open their homes to bright, sunny days. Shades can be programmed to automatically raise and lower at any time of the day, incorporated with lighting in preset scenes or manually controlled using Vantage touchscreens or keypads.

By incorporating motorized shading, lighting controls, and color-tunable light fixtures into one solution, LHUMAN makes it easier than ever for integrators to deliver the benefits of HCL to their customers. Programming LHUMAN is simple, using the latest version of Vantage's programming software, Design Center 4.4. The software’s key features consist of new color load types, including warm/cool and warm/white/cool; new tunable profiles for fixture color loads; single-digit CCT value input; and enhanced security improvements.

“There’s tremendous growth potential in the lighting category, and we’re excited to be at Lightapalooza to educate dealers,” said Charlie Derk, General Manager, Shading and Residential Controls, Legrand North America. “With this opportunity comes the demand to deliver the best and brightest lighting solutions for today’s smart homes. That’s what dealers will see from us, and we’ll be surrounded by many of the lighting manufacturers who are part of our Lighting Fixture Alliance.”

At the booth, the latest shading solutions from Legrand Shading Systems will also be on display, including the new curated fabric collections featuring new decorative, solar screen, sustainable, and room-darkening options from Coulisse, Twitchell, Phifer, Mermet, and more — perfect for dressing up windows in style and spicing up any room. With this latest release, Legrand now offers 753 fabrics in its portfolio. Roller shades will be shown with the company’s new Designer Series decorative brackets and hembar endcaps. Designed to fit 2.6-inch and 3.3-inch universal and open-roll adjustable brackets, the decorative brackets slide on easily to completely conceal mounting brackets from the outside without interfering with the mounting surface. To match the aesthetics of any space, Designer Series decorative brackets and hembar endcaps are available in 15 finish styles across three collections: Premium, Glass, and adorne®. Premium finishes offer clean lines and are color-matched to Legrand's wiring devices, while adorne finishes perfectly complement switches and outlets from Legrand's adorne Collection. Glass finishes are inspired by the Vantage EasyTouch Glass keypad and offer a reflective, mirror-like surface. Likewise, the Designer Series hembar endcaps' modern shapes complete the look with a consistent finish.

Dealers will feel well supported with all the new tools and resources Legrand has to offer, such as new fabric books and a demo case for the Designer Series of decorative brackets and hembar endcaps, as well as a new demo case for Vantage's keypads.
