The patented solution helped installers dispense cords quickly and easily, reducing installation time and waste while improving staging area organization. In 2018, EZ Patch Flat Pack brought the same installation-focused philosophy to a more sustainable packaging format, making patch cords easier to transport, stage and deploy.
In 2026, Legrand introduced the EZ Patch Smart Manager, a horizontal cable manager engineered for standard 19-inch network racks. By storing cable slack neatly within the rack, it helps maximize floor space and eliminates the need for protruding vertical management fingers, creating a more efficient workspace for technicians.
A patented dispensing design allows patch cords to be easily accessed from a fully recyclable cardboard box. A unique clip secures the patch cords within the box for easy dispensing and removal. Available in standard and reduced (28 AWG) diameters from CAT 5e to CAT 6A, with up to 50 cables per box.
The original EZ Patch solution features a fully recyclable cardboard box. When all cords have been dispensed, throw the box and clips into the recycle bin.
Installation time can be cut nearly in half when compared to traditional individually bagged patch cords with either the EZ Patch or the EZ Patch Flat Pack solution
