Free-standing containment delivers a self-supporting aisle enclosure that stands independently on the data-center floor, eliminating structural reliance on the building’s shell and simplifying installation. This means you can deploy full corridor containment before racks are in place, or add cabinets in phases over time.
Cabinets anchor directly to the free-standing frame, eliminating the need for slab drilling or structural modifications. This dramatically speeds up installation time, reduces labor, and simplifies deployment.
The floor-mounted design supports all containment components- walls, roof panels, sliding doors, cable trays, and busways, without relying on the building’s shell. This design is suitable when ceiling or slab anchoring is impractical.
Due to its modular, self-supporting nature, free-standing containment scales efficiently for large-scale, high-growth environments. This makes it well suited for hyperscale data centers or facilities expecting phased expansion.
