LEGRAND ANNOUNCES 2025 NORTH AMERICAN MARKETEER OF THE YEAR WINNERS FOR ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL

West Hartford, CT March 6th 2026 - Legrand®, a global leader in electrical wiring devices and cable management solutions, has announced the winners of its 2025 “Marketeer of the Year” competition. This annual program recognizes outstanding electrical distribution partners across the United States and Canada for excellence in marketing, effective use of digital tools, and strong year-over-year sales growth. Nominations are submitted by Legrand sales representatives, who highlight distributors demonstrating exceptional marketing initiatives throughout the year.

“Our partners continue to elevate their marketing efforts year after year, and 2025 was no exception,” said Greg Kozniewski, Legrand’s Director of Digital Marketing and Channel Enablement for the Electrical Wiring Systems division. “We received 44 submissions showcasing a blend of proven traditional tactics and forward‑thinking digital strategies designed to meet the evolving needs of contractors and distributors. The strong collaboration between the Legrand sales team and our distributor partners was clearly reflected in the quality of both the entries and the winning programs.”

In total, 11 regional “Marketeer of the Year” winners were selected; each entry was judged against others from similarly sized distributors within their specific sales region. For the third year in a row, Cooper Electric, a Sonepar Company, was awarded the grand prize of the “Best Overall Marketeer of the Year” in North America.

“Cooper Electric delivered a truly powerful multi‑channel marketing strategy that kept Legrand top‑of‑mind across the Northeast’s busiest electrical markets,” said Legrand Regional Vice President for the East Trevor Gardner. “By combining targeted digital tactics—like email outreach, website visibility, real‑time stock access, and social media—with high‑impact field engagement such as Tailgates & Trades events, counter days, in‑branch displays, hands‑on demos, and joint sales calls, they created consistent visibility and meaningful customer interactions. Their coordinated approach turned awareness into engagement, and engagement into measurable growth. It’s no surprise that Cooper has earned Best Overall for three consecutive years: 2023, 2024, and 2025.”
