Panel Addition to Legrand’s Digital Lighting Management Provides Centralized Dimming for Open Spaces

New 0-10V Dimming Panel from Wattstopper® Products eliminates Need for Multiple Room Controllers

Legrand is excited to announce the latest addition to its Digital Lighting Management (DLM) product platform, the 0-10V Dimming LMCP panel. The dimming panel expands on the DLM system’s current relay panel solution to offer centralized dimming and flexible automation. Adding 0-10V dimming functionality enables the panels to be used for any open space application including parking garage, open office, corridors, and lecture halls. Centralized dimming controls is a great alternative to distributed controls and removes the need for multiple room controllers in a space. The latest addition is compliant with the latest performance-based energy codes and features the same expected ease of installation and setup as our other DLM products.

“It’s great to see how our engineers could supercharge our existing LMCP product and add the ability to dim lighting with 0-10V signals in the same enclosure,” said Charles Knuffke, Legrand’s Systems Evangelist of Wattstopper Products, “I think our customers will be incredibly pleased with the change we’ve added.”

The DLM 0-10V LMCP panel allows for additional flexibility in the sequence of operations desired for any space with the ability to control ON/OFF fixtures as well as 0-10V dimming fixtures. Dimming as an option provides simpler designs within a panelized product that can be mounted in a remote electrical closet allowing for less clutter in open spaces.

Panel Features:
  • Available in 8, 24 and 48 Relay sizes
  • Panels available with all On/Off/0-10V Relay Drive cards (default) or original ON/OFF Relay Drivers which include a direct wired switch input per relay.
  • Part of the DLM platform
    • All DLM Switches, Dimmers, Touch Screen, Occupancy Sensors, Daylighting Controllers can control these loads
  • Built in network port for MS/TP BACnet communication
  • Removable Phoenix connectors for 0-10V Terminals
  • HDR-11 Mechanically held relays with manual relay override
  • Stand-Alone timeclock ability
  • Override button per relay that can also be used to test 0-10V dimming functionality

About DLM
Digital Lighting Management (DLM) from Wattstopper Products is an intelligent, distributed control system that automatically maximizes lighting energy efficiency. DLM is designed to scale from stand-alone control of individual rooms to centralized control of a floor, a building, or an entire campus. With DLM, you layer your choice of control strategies to meet project goals, from energy code compliance to building aesthetics, simplified maintenance and enhanced energy performance. Control options include room controllers for switched or dimmed lighting loads, or for plug loads; digital occupancy sensors; sleek switches and handheld remotes; versatile daylighting sensors; lighting control panels; tools for remote configuration, scheduling and system management; and interfaces providing connectivity to third party devices. For building-wide monitoring and management, multiple DLM local networks may be connected to an industry standard open protocol network for control by a segment manager or building automation system (BAS).
