Legrand Wattstopper® Partners with Mecho® to Deliver Seamless Shade Control and Shading Integration
WEST HARTFORD, CT (October 16, 2025) - Legrand®, a global leader in electrical and digital building infrastructures has announced a new integration between its Wattstopper® lighting control systems and Mecho® motorized and automated shades. This collaboration creates a streamlined approach for building owners, designers, and integrators to combine advanced lighting and shading solutions, driving greater energy efficiency, comfort, and occupant control.
Through a simple dry contact connection, Wattstopper now easily and reliably controls Mecho’s iQ2 AC and DC motors. This direct compatibility allows for a straightforward, robust integration, between Wattstopper PLUS or DLM and Mecho’s iQ2+ Single Motor Splitter. Users can operate shades with Wattstopper Plus GreenBus Wallstations or DLM Standard Switches, bringing a unified shade control experience to commercial spaces.
