Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dim lighting I am so happy with the soft top dimmer switch that I had got last week the dimmer is very easy to use. There was no need for a professional installation as the instructions were very clear it actually worked on the first try, Something I’m not that familiar with After using it I plan on going buying more for my downstairs game room and are outside party room. It’s certainly can set the mood for whatever occasion with a push of a button

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great product with poor QA I have been using LaGrand products on upscale renovations for awhile. Great product visually and mechanically. Have had to return switches to manufacturer or reseller three time over past five years. They should better test products prior to shipping. This is an overpriced high end product. The consumer has the right to expect perfection.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from great features allows for the adjustment of light easily and i like the it allows for any bulb type to be used with the dimmer switch. The install was simple and took under fifteen minutes and fit into already existing installation.

Can this be used as a 3-way switch with dimmers on both sides?

Asked by: New home
Not very well.  I have two 3way switches and the work sporadically.  Usually have to reset at main switch.

I have a sofTap dimmer with two chandeliers with 38 pieces beach one 6w LED dimeable bulbs. It is getting hot. Why is the reason?

Asked by: Rodrigo
I suggest you contact an electrician to figure that out.  I am a homeowner that used the legend products and we love them with no issues.

The light fixture I am installing requires a 1-10v dimmer. Will this dimmer works?

Asked by: angry chef
The universal dimmer is not designed to handle 0-10V fixtures. Here are our available options in Magnesium: https://www.legrand.us/search.aspx?q=adpd4fbl3p2m4 https://www.legrand.us/search.aspx?q=adtp4fbl3pm4 https://www.legrand.us/search.aspx?q=adth4fbl3pm4

Hi - I'm using this dimmer (ADTP703TUW4) with a regular 3-way softap switch (no dimmer). Can these be used in either the master or remote locations? I can get mine to work at first but then the softtap switch stops working after 4-5 pushes.

Asked by: John
When using True Universal Dimmer in a 3 way application, with an electronic switch (Soft Tap, Touch, or Wave), the HOT wire MUST be connected to the electronic switch, and the dimmer MUST be connected to the load. Reversing this wiring (HOT to Dimmer and LOAD to Switch ) will cause the switch to stop functioning. The switch requires 120 VAC to operate. When the voltage to the switch is lowered by using the dimmer, the electronics in the switch stop functioning. This only applies when using an electronic switch. A standard switch (Paddle, Push and Whisper, for example) is not effected.

My electrician just installed 7 of these in our home and they are all extremely hot to the touch (180+). 4 of them are running six 10w cans, the rest are lower loads (one just a single 10w can). Reverse phase setting helped slightly. Anything else to try?

Asked by: ce11
I would suggest contacting adorne Technical Support to go over the installation and possible adjustments that can be made to the universal dimmers. adorne products 1.800.223.4185 opt 3 Mon - Fri: 8am - 8pm EST (excluding holidays) Email Us - tech.support@legrand.us
