Features
- Protects against electrical shock caused by ground-fault occurrences.
- Conducts an industry-leading automatic self-test every 3 seconds. If the portable GFCI device ever fails, the red indicator light flashes to signal it should be replaced.
- Equipped with proven SafeLock protection feature: if critical components are damaged and protection is lost, power to the outlet is disconnected.
- Open neutral relay automatically cuts power to device line conductor if the neutral wire preceding the portable GFCI becomes damaged.
- Requires portable GFCI to be manually set for use by pressing reset button upon plug in and after loss of primary power.
- Ground-Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI) help prevent electrical shock caused by ground faults.
- GFCI protection is required by code in bathrooms, kitchens, garages, outdoor areas, and for any other outlets found within six feet of a sink or water source.
